The safety and well-being of all conference participants is our priority. After studying and evaluating the announcements, guidance, and news released by relevant national departments, we have made the decision, along with guidance from the IEEE CIS Leadership, that WCCI 2020 will continue as scheduled on 19-24 July, by being converted to an exciting, fully virtual conference, and will not take place physically in Glasgow.Author Presentations:
In order to accommodate our authors, WCCI 2020 will be providing the ability for accepted authors to present their work through an interactive online platform. These presentations will be made available to all paid attendees and will allow accepted papers to be published in IEEE Xplore. More information regarding this will be made available via the WCCI 2020 website, by April 20th.Registration Fees:
The Organizing Committee will be making a final determination on new, reduced registration fees, and will also be communicating this via the conference website, by April 20th.

Registration Deadline Extension:
We are aware that some authors may be experiencing delays and challenges with making registration payments, for example, due to institutions being temporarily closed. Thus, the Organizing Committee has made the decision to extend the final paper submission deadline and early registration deadline for authors to May 15, 2020.

Virtual Conference Format
We are currently evaluating many factors and reviewing best practices to determine the optimal format for the various sessions that are scheduled at WCCI 2020. We will be making a relevant announcement as soon as these details are finalized.
We hope you all stay safe and well, and look forward to working with you all to put on an exciting virtual WCCI – which will also include a virtual experience of Glasgow!

With Best Regards,
WCCI 2020 General Chairs
